Subject: Greetings from Budapest Hungary!

Hi folks,

 
Xuan and I are "on the air" from Budapest Hungary!  We met at JFK and had a normal flight to Vienna, arriving around 12.00 Sunday.  We rented at car and drove south to Budapest (about 260km) on a very smooth western European-style highway, having absolutely no trouble crossing the border.
 
We arrived around 4PM in Budapest, and drove around town a bit, and then found a hotel on a hill overlooking the Buda side of the Danube.  It's a very nice hotel, and we just had dinner at a very upscale restaurant within walking distance, with live Hungarian music.
 
Our Net connection is flaky at this point, but we'll send more when its better.
