Gold Medal - 1995 World Beer Championship. The authentic Munich hefe-weizen (unfiltered wheat beer), Hacker-Pschorr Weisse is brewed with 60% wheat, 40% barley. Using top-fermenting yeast, it is then slowly lagered and remains unfiltered throughout the finish.
