Red ales are one of the most ancient beer styles ever recorded. From Pharoah tombs to Viking legends, red ales have been ceremonious brews for more than 5,000 years. Ancient brewers used a specific variety of red barley to create extraordinary and exotic tasting brews for their most adventurous celebrations. Pete's Wicked Red is a blend of Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts which contribute to its amber red hue and complex taste. Tettnang hops are added late in the kettle and provide its rich floral aroma.
