Samuel Adams Double Bock

The label reads:

Once craft brewers like Samuel Adams brewed small batches of unique and rare styles. The Boston Beer Company now brings back this tradition. Double Bock, the richest and most full-bodied of beers, has rarely been brewed in America since its the 19th century origins. This classic double bock uses only pure water, lager yeast, Bavarian hops and four times the malt of other brews. We brew this smooth double bock for those with the hearty taste for full bodied dark brew.

James Koch

Samuel Adams describes this beer:

A deep brown-ruby color malty lager, this beer has strong malt and caramel character, very smooth, full bodied flavor, with low/medium bitterness. It has a high original gravity due to two complete mashes for each brew, and a long aging process for smoothness. The aging process takes 40 days.
