Born and 
			raised in Chicago Heights, IL, Anthony "C.J." Tucker Jr. discovered 
			his love for drums at the age of four years old.  He was raised 
			in a Christian family full of talented musicians and began to 
			perfect his talents while serving as the drummer for his church 
			around the age of six.  During his grade school and high school 
			years, you could always find C.J. in some type of band, where he 
			received an overwhelming number of certificates and awards. 
			
			At the age of 
			sixteen, C.J. began his professional career as a drummer and began 
			to play for various gospel artists in the Chicagoland area.  
			Soon after, he was called to record and perform for various Gospel, 
			R&B and Rock artists across the country.  C.J.’s talents have 
			been displayed on several albums by gospel recording artists such 
			as: Ronald Woods, Jason Allen, David Ballard, Tony Tidwell, Montagne 
			Pheloan, Jeral Gray and New Direction, as well as Kenny Lewis and 
			One Voice.  
			C.J. has 
			performed and toured with a plethora of well known artists like 
			Angie Stone and Gospel Icon Rance Allen.  He has also worked 
			with several gospel stage plays in Chicago.  His gift is 
			apparent as he has played in numerous venues including famous 
			arenas, concert halls, festivals, cruises, and various overseas 
			tours to Norway, Italy, Switzerland, Europe, Brazil, Hong Kong, etc.  
			His versatility includes Gospel, Rock, Blues, Soul, R&B, and Jazz. 
			
			C.J. is 
			currently a drummer for Salem Baptist Church as well as the 
			full-time drummer for Ronnie Baker Brooks.
